In 2017, AAI completed approximately 400 feet of vertical-up NQ3-diameter core holes at three Lehigh Hanson underground limestone mines located in Pennsylvania. Holes were drilled into the roof atop a 30-foot scissor lift using AAI’s lightweight LA-100 aluminum-frame drill rig. An AAI Staff Geologist logged core on-site during coring and the core was returned to AAI’s lab in Grand Junction for testing afterwards.
