Agnico-Eagle Mexico, SA de CV
AAI prepared estimations of future ventilation fan requirements and ventilation control locations using the simulation package VnetPC2007 for the Agnico-Eagle Pinos Altos Mine. The mine is located in the Sierra Madre gold belt approximately 280 km from Chihuahua, Mexico, and is actually two interconnected mines: the Santa Nino and the Ober Weber. Underground mining will commence from an open pit mine via ramp access. The mine is expected to use the long sublevel stoping method to extract ore at a 4ate of 3,000–4,000 tons per day.
